Terms and conditions of contractual engagement

1. The positions are purely temporary and contractual for a period of one year. They will stand abolished after completion of the tenure period. Continuance or extension, if any, at the end of the tenure is subject to assessment and the requirement of the Bureau. 2. The monthly consolidated remuneration is as indicated against each position. No other allowance or benefit is admissible. 3. The age limit for each position is as indicated against the position. Age relaxation will be considered as per the Tamil Nadu Government norms for reserved category candidates. 4. The application shall be accompanied by a recent passport size photograph, signature and self-attested (signed) copies of documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications (with mark sheets of all qualifying examinations) and experience, uploaded on this portal. The particulars entered in the application must be supported by the documents uploaded. 5. Selection will be based on shortlisting of applications (educational qualifications, experience, suitability for the Post and Practical Skill Assessment (where applicable)), followed by a personal interview. The date and time of the personal interview will be intimated individually by e-mail to the shortlisted candidates. 6. The Bureau will not provide accommodation, and no TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview. 7. Original certificates shall be produced at the time of verification. At the time of verification of original documents, or even after selection, if it is found that an attempt has been made by the applicant to wilfully conceal or misrepresent the facts, or to canvass, the application will be rejected and due action will be taken against the candidate. 8. The Conservator of Forests and Director, Tamil Nadu Forest and Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, Chennai, reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of incomplete information provided by the candidate or for any other reason. 9. Applicants should be cautious against touts and agents who may cheat by making false promises of securing engagement through unfair means. The Bureau shall not be responsible or liable for any loss that may be caused to any applicant on account of dealings with such elements. 10. An applicant may submit only one application for each position through this portal. An applicant who wishes to be considered for more than one position shall submit a separate application for each such position. Submission of more than one application for the same position may result in cancellation of candidature for that position. Applicants should carefully select the position before submitting each application. 11. Applications shall be accepted through the online portal only. The application, once submitted, is final. Any application received after the last date and time shall not be considered. 12. Mere submission of an application confers no right to be called for interview or to be engaged. 13. The entire selection process is transparent and free of cost. No fee or payment of any kind is to be made to any person or agency at any stage of the process. Applicants should beware of touts and fraudulent offers made in the name of this engagement. If any fraudulent practice is noticed, it may be reported to the Bureau's toll-free number 1800 599 7699.

These terms must be accepted while submitting the online application. They also form part of the application print-out.
